#SocialAwarenessPorn - This movie is a creative interpretation of journalist Nellie Bly’s experience in which he had herself committed to Blackwell Island Asylum to expose the mistreatment and mistreatments suffered by patients at the hands of the staff. This movie’s been re-imagined to the modern-day, where they still treat hysteria. Unfortunately, poor patient treatment wasn’t unique to Blackwell, and eventually, most of America’s asylums were closed. America is still in desperate need of mental health reform.

Investigative journalist Kitty Catherine has been researching local medical institutions, and she has questions about one in particular. She has noticed they are buying a lot of supplies they don't medically need, and all male patients were transferred out.

Now, Doctor Tampa's asylum only houses female patients. And based on their recent purchases, which have to be made public, she suspects he is treating hysteria.

She meets with the doctor in charge of the institution, who hands the paperwork off to his nurse to retain "copies" of her evidence. Moments later, Kitty hears shredding, fearing all of her hard work has gone to shreds.

Soon Kitty Catherine finds out the bigger shock is how Doctor Tampa has signed her commitment paperwork! Thank goodness for her, since the doctor soon discovers she's suffering from a bad case of hysteria!
